I used to have a habit of eating late-night snacks. Recently, I have noticed a significant increase in my weight and I want to lose some pounds. However, I always crave for late-night snacks. So, can I still have late-night snacks during this weight loss period? Will eating late-night snacks make me gain weight?

After 8 PM, it is not recommended to consume any calorie-rich foods at night. Just like the brain, the gastrointestinal system also needs sufficient time to rest. It is suggested to avoid eating anything after 8 PM, except for drinking water, in order to prevent weight gain and protect the function of the gastrointestinal system. If you feel extremely hungry, you can have some vegetables and fruits.
