Dietary Methods

If you have eaten too much for lunch, you can try eating a slightly smaller dinner. On the other hand, if you have overindulged for dinner, try eating a smaller breakfast the next morning. The goal is to control the total calorie intake throughout the day.

Furthermore, after overeating, you can consume certain foods to aid digestion and reduce the accumulation of excess fat.

Celery Juice

If you have consumed too much greasy food, you can opt for a glass of celery juice. Celery juice is low in sugar and high in fiber, which helps eliminate some of the ingested fat.

Barley Tea with Orange Peel

The barley in the tea contains urocanic acid, and the orange peel contains volatile oils, both of which can increase gastric secretion and promote gastrointestinal motility. Drinking a cup of barley tea with orange peel after overeating can help prevent weight gain.
