Ajiao Jizi Huang Tang: Nourishing Yin and Suppressing Wind in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Ajiao Jizi Huang Tang, a traditional Chinese medicine prescription. It is from the book "Revised Common Cold Treatise". It is used to nourish yin and suppress wind. It is used for those with cold pathogenic factors invading the Shaoyin meridian, deficiency of water and excessive fire, depletion of body fluids causing wind, and spasm and sores on the hands and feet.


[Composition] Chen Ajiao 6g (melted and dissolved in hot water), raw Baishao 9g, Shijue Ming 15g (ground), Shuanggouteng 6g, Dashengdi 12g, roasted Licorice 1.8g, raw Muli 12g (ground), Luoshiteng 9g, Fushenmu 12g, chicken egg yolk 2 (pre-boiled).

[Functions and Indications] Nourish yin and suppress wind. It is used for those with cold pathogenic factors invading the Shaoyin meridian, deficiency of water and excessive fire, depletion of body fluids causing wind, and spasm and sores on the hands and feet.

[Dosage] Decoction and take orally.

[Introduction of Medicinal Materials]

Baishao: Nourish blood and soften the liver, relieve middle energizer and stop pain, astringe yin and stop sweating. It is used for chest and abdominal pain, diarrhea and abdominal pain, spontaneous sweating and night sweats, yin deficiency fever, irregular menstruation, excessive menstruation, and leukorrhea.

Muli: Astringe Yin, submerge Yang, stop sweating, astringe essence, transform phlegm, soften hardness. It is used for epilepsy, dizziness, spontaneous sweating, night sweats, nocturnal emissions, cloudy urine, excessive menstruation, leukorrhea, scrofula, and goiter. It is used for palpitations and insomnia, dizziness and tinnitus, scrofula and phlegm nodules, abdominal pain and acid reflux.

Fushenmu: Sweet, flat. It enters the liver and heart meridians. Its main function is to calm the liver and calm the mind. It is used for palpitations and forgetfulness, aphasia due to stroke, and foot qi turning.

Shijue Ming: Shijue Ming has anti-infection effects, especially against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa in the body. If there are unhealthy conditions caused by these bacteria in the intestines and stomach, it is best to use some Shijue Ming.

Chicken egg yolk: Nourish yin and moisten dryness; nourish blood and suppress wind. It is used for restlessness and insomnia, fever convulsions, deficiency fatigue with vomiting blood, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, burns, hot sores, hepatitis, and children's indigestion.
