Many women experience mild discomfort during their menstrual period, but dysmenorrhea refers to menstrual pain that affects normal activities and requires medication for treatment. It is a cyclic pain that occurs during most menstrual cycles. Dysmenorrhea is often characterized by cramping and is accompanied by lower back pain, nausea, vomiting, headaches, or diarrhea.

Here, I recommend a traditional Chinese medicinal diet to help alleviate the pain.
