There are four taboos in the life of menopausal women. Only by paying careful attention can they ensure a smooth transition through this period.

    Taboo 1: Mental stress

Mental stress and emotional excitement can exacerbate the imbalance of neuroendocrine, leading to more severe menopausal symptoms. Therefore, menopausal women should not always be worried and should learn to maintain a cheerful spirit and emotional stability, which is beneficial for physical and mental health.

    Taboo 2: Unclean vulva

During menopause, due to the lack of estrogen support, the acidity and alkalinity of the vaginal mucosa will change, and resistance will decrease, making it prone to vaginal inflammation. Therefore, menopausal women should pay attention to vulva hygiene in daily life to prevent infection.

    Taboo 3: Excessive lactation

If menopausal women have excessive lactation when they are young, it can deplete the essence and blood, causing deficiency of kidney yin and leading to early or prolonged menopause, exacerbating symptoms and promoting aging. Therefore, menopausal women should pay attention to self-care in daily life and appropriately nourish the kidney yin.

    Taboo 4: Abuse of drugs

If menopausal women receive long-term treatment with thyroid hormones before menopause, it will not only lead to osteoporosis but also increase the risk of hip fractures in old age. Therefore, in the life of menopausal women, drugs must be used with caution and excessive use should be avoided.
