  [Ingredients]

Papaya 45g, Sang Ji Sheng 75g, Yu Zhu 240g, Xu Duan 30g, Chuan Niu Xi 90g, Dang Gui 45g, Chuan Xiong 60g, Hong Hua 45g, Du Huo 30g, Qiang Huo 30g, Fang Feng 60g, Bai Zhu 90g, Can Sha 60g, Hong Qu 180g, Gan Cao 30g.

  [Functions]

Dispels wind and dampness, promotes blood circulation and dredges collaterals, nourishes yin and generates fluids. It is used for the treatment of rheumatic obstruction of collaterals, blood stasis and yin deficiency causing bi syndrome, characterized by joint pain, limited flexion and extension, and numbness of the limbs.

  [Preparation Method]

Grind the above fifteen ingredients, except for Hong Qu, into coarse powder, then add Hong Qu; separately dissolve 555g of brown sugar in 11100g of white wine, and follow the soaking and filtering method of paste preparation, using brown sugar wine as the solvent. After soaking for 48 hours, slowly filter the liquid at a rate of 1-3ml per minute, collect the filtrate, let it settle, and then filter it to obtain the final product.

  [Usage and Dosage]

Oral administration. Take 20-30ml at a time, twice a day.

  [Introduction of Medicinal Ingredients]

Xu Duan: It has the effects of tonifying the liver and kidneys, reconnecting tendons and bones, and regulating blood vessels.

Dang Gui: It mainly treats blood deficiency, regulates menstruation, relieves pain, moisturizes dryness and lubricates the intestines. It is used for the treatment of irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, retention of lochia, abdominal masses and accumulations, dizziness and headache due to blood deficiency, constipation and difficult defecation, recurrent dysentery, boils, and injuries from falls.

Chuan Xiong: Promotes blood circulation, relieves Qi stagnation, dispels wind and relieves pain. It is used for the treatment of chest oppression and pain, stabbing pain in the chest and sides, swelling and pain from falls and blows, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, abdominal pain due to Qi stagnation and masses, headache, and rheumatic pain.

Du Huo: Its pharmacological actions include anti-inflammatory, reducing capillary permeability, reducing blood pressure, antiarrhythmic, central nervous system inhibition, antispasmodic, respiratory stimulation, antibacterial, anti-tuberculosis, anti-ulcer, and anti-tumor effects.
