【Introduction to the Ingredients】

Chinese wolfberry: Nourishes the liver and kidneys, nourishes the essence, and brightens the eyes. It is used for deficiency of essence in cases of exhaustion, soreness of the waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus, internal heat and thirst, blood deficiency and withering yellow, and blurred vision.

Longan flesh: Supplements qi and blood, enhances memory. Dried longan contains abundant glucose, sucrose, protein, and high iron content. It can not only improve heat energy and supplement nutrition but also promote the regeneration of hemoglobin to replenish blood. Experimental studies have found that longan flesh has a beneficial effect on brain cells, enhances memory, and eliminates fatigue.

Angelica sinensis: Its root can be used as medicine and is one of the most commonly used Chinese medicines. It has the effects of nourishing blood, regulating menstruation and relieving pain, moistening dryness and lubricating the intestines, anti-cancer, anti-aging, immune enhancement, etc.

Eucommia ulmoides: It can eliminate waste in the body, enhance the metabolism of cellular substances, prevent muscle and bone aging, balance blood pressure, decompose cholesterol, reduce body fat, restore vascular elasticity, diuretic and heat-clearing, broad-spectrum antibacterial, stimulate the central nervous system, and improve the pharmacological effects of white blood cells.

Cyathula root: The root is used as medicine, raw, to promote blood circulation and regulate menstruation; it is used to treat postpartum abdominal pain, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, soreness of the waist and knees, weak tendons and bones, and urinary tract symptoms.

Acanthopanax bark: Used for rheumatoid arthritis, weak tendons and bones, delayed movement in children, physical weakness, edema, and beriberi.

Chinese wolfberry and longan flesh are a good combination, which can have a dual nourishing effect of yin and yang. When combined with angelica sinensis, it has a good effect of harmonizing qi and blood. This combination is also common in medicinal wine prescriptions. The effects of Qiyuan Wine in Yuanhui Yijing are similar to those of Guigui Chrysanthemum Wine mentioned earlier, but it uses more herbs and has a more comprehensive effect.
