Aloe Vera Beauty
There is no necessary relationship between rough skin and actual age. Some people look older than their actual age, while others seem to get younger as they age. This not only has to do with maintaining a positive mindset, but also with proper skincare, which plays a very important role. Today, I will share with you how to use aloe vera for beauty.
Methods of Aloe Vera Beauty
Methods/Steps
Choose the right variety
There are hundreds of varieties of aloe vera, but only three of them are suitable for medicinal use: Aloe vera, Aloe ferox, and Aloe barbadensis. Small potted aloe vera plants have thin leaves with many deep patterns, which do not have medicinal effects and are not edible.
Use the flesh, not the skin
The green skin of aloe vera contains toxic aloin, which can easily irritate the skin and gastrointestinal system, causing redness, swelling, and intestinal colic. Therefore, whether used externally or internally, it is best to remove the skin before use.
Oral use should not be long-term
I learned from Chinese medicine that a dosage of aloe vera of about 9-15 grams can cause poisoning symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, proteinuria, bradycardia, and even abortion. Whenever my liver is overheated, which is when I wake up in the morning feeling bitter mouth, bad breath, constipation, indigestion, or bloating, I drink some fresh aloe vera juice to clear heat, detoxify, and beautify the skin. However, I stop using it immediately when the symptoms improve.
Do a patch test before using for beauty
Natural aloe vera has excellent moisturizing effects and is gentle on the skin. If there is no allergic reaction, long-term use is generally safe. Apply a thin layer of aloe vera on the inner side of the upper arm and observe for 3 consecutive days. If there is no redness, it means there is no allergic reaction.
