Relieving Pregnancy Nausea: Traditional Medicinal Diets with Ginger

Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy refers to the symptoms of repeated nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and vomiting after eating that occur in women during the 2-3 months after conception. [Traditional Medicinal Diet 1] Ume Ginger Soup

[Ingredients] 10g of Ume flesh, 10g of ginger, appropriate amount of brown sugar

[Preparation] Boil the Ume flesh, ginger, and brown sugar in an appropriate amount of water to make a soup. It is recommended to drink it twice a day.


[Traditional Medicinal Diet 2] Ginger Braised Chicken

[Ingredients] 1 chicken, appropriate amount of old ginger, rice wine, scallion, and other seasonings

[Preparation] Cut the chicken into pieces and set aside. Heat oil in a wok, add ginger slices, stir-fry until fragrant, then add the chicken and stir-fry until cooked. Add rice wine and the remaining seasonings, simmer until the chicken is fully cooked, add scallion and simmer for another 2 minutes. Serve as a regular meal.
