Summer Skincare: Tips for Radiant and Protected Skin

Summer, intense UV radiation can cause damage to the skin, especially for women. They dare not go out without wearing sunscreen. However, if you often wear makeup, you must also do a good job of facial cleansing. So how can you take care of your skin to make it radiant?
 


 

1. Pay attention to cleanliness

Apply a mild soap suitable for your skin to your hands. After foaming, massage it onto your face, then rinse with clean water and dry with a towel. Do not apply the soap to the towel and rub forcefully, as this can damage the skin. After that, apply facial cleanser to your face, gently massage and rub with your fingertips, and finally rinse with clean water. Cleaning your skin 1-2 times a day can keep it fresh.

2. Use vegetable and fruit masks

Using vegetable and fruit masks in summer is more beneficial for skin care. Dip a cotton pad in fresh pineapple juice or lemon juice (or cucumber, watermelon juice, etc.) and apply it to the clean face. Lie down and rest for 15 minutes, then wash it off with warm water. These fruit and vegetable juices are beneficial for dull skin. If the skin is severely sunburned, you can use a yogurt mask, apply it and leave it overnight, then remove it with warm water.
 


 

3. Light makeup

Summer is a vibrant season with abundant vitality, and the colors of cosmetics should be as bright and colorful as possible. However, in the hot summer, heavy makeup can make people feel irritable, so it is advisable to wear light makeup. It is best not to use eyeshadow and mascara, and the powder, lipstick, and eyeliner should also be light, giving people a light and serene feeling.

4. Use cleanser

Physiologically speaking, sweating a lot in summer, and using cosmetics with too heavy colors can be counterproductive. Therefore, pay attention to the use of cleanser before applying makeup. In the sweaty summer, if dirt clogs the pores, it is easy to develop skin diseases. You must use a cleanser before applying makeup to remove dirt, then use a toner to tighten the pores. Apply a thin layer of foundation to facilitate skin absorption.
