Legend of Pink Carnations

The legend of pink carnations is that when the Virgin Mary saw Jesus suffering and shedding tears of sadness, carnations grew where her tears fell, making pink carnations a symbol of eternal motherly love. Unlike roses, carnations represent a more gentle and warm love, suitable for describing the love of family, so children often give carnations to their parents.

Choosing and Arranging Carnations

Choosing

Choose flowers that are moderately open, not too big or too small. Avoid choosing tightly closed buds, as they may not open properly.

Arranging

1. Withered petals: Carnation petals wither starting from the outer edge. When arranging, hold the flower head with one hand and remove the withered petals with the other hand. Do not only remove half of a petal, as the cut will discolor and the flower will look less fresh.

2. Small opening: Hold the base of the flower head with one hand and gently push the outer petals with the side of your index finger to open the flower. Do not use your hand to force open the center of the flower; instead, let the carnation soak in water to slowly open.

Carnations are not only for appreciation; they also have beauty and skincare benefits. They can calm the mind, clear the eyes, reduce inflammation, moisturize the throat, improve digestion, and have significant effects in treating headaches and toothaches. They contain various trace elements needed by the body, can accelerate blood circulation, promote metabolism, and have the effects of clearing the mind, detoxifying and beautifying the skin, regulating the endocrine system in women, and tonifying the kidneys. They can also treat fatigue, cough, and polydipsia. They can improve blood circulation, enhance metabolism, clear the mind, detoxify, delay aging, regulate blood lipids, and help with weight loss.

Suitable Combinations with Carnations

The most beautiful thing in the world is that I have grown up, but you have not grown old. I have the ability to repay, and you are still healthy. This is our greatest happiness!

When we are happy about our own growth, we often forget that it is causing our mother to age. We are maturing in the shadow of our mother's aging. In our busy lives, let's not forget to turn around and look at our mothers, not forget May 14th, not forget Mother's Day, not forget to give a bouquet of carnations and a blessing. Happy Mother's Day, Mom!
