  [Treatment of Tian Chong Point]

  Principle of treatment: Tonify with moxibustion if cold, and disperse with acupuncture if heat.

  Daily healthcare: Use the tip of the index finger to press and rub vertically downwards, feeling a sour and swollen sensation. Do this once in the morning and once in the evening.

  Acupuncture method: Insert the needle into Tian Chong Point subcutaneously for 0.3-0.5 inches.

  Moxibustion method: Use moxa stick to apply heat to Tian Chong Point for 5-10 minutes.

  1. Use the index fingers of both hands to press Tian Chong Point, 3-5 minutes each time, twice a day. This method can treat gum swelling and pain.

  2. If there is gum swelling and pain accompanied by toothache or headache, you can also massage Hegu Point to relieve the pain.

  3. Close the index finger, middle finger, ring finger, and little finger together, and use the fingertips to massage Tian Chong Point for 1-3 minutes. The degree of warmth in the local skin is the standard. Consistent massage can relieve gum swelling and pain, as well as headache in children.
