Ganmai Jujube and Lotus Root Soup: Take 250g of lotus root, 75g of wheat, 12g of licorice, 5 red dates, and 3g of salt. Wash the wheat and soak it in water for 1 hour. Soak the red dates until soft and remove the pits. Boil the wheat, licorice, and red dates in water, then add the lotus root and simmer until soft. Finally, add salt to taste. This soup has the effects of nourishing qi and blood, calming the mind, and is especially suitable for those with poor complexion and insomnia.

Mulberry Juice: Take 60g of fresh mulberries, boil them in water, and simmer for 10 minutes. Drink it 1 hour before bedtime every night. Mulberries have a sweet taste and cold nature. They have the functions of nourishing the liver and kidneys, calming the mind, nourishing the blood and yin, moisturizing the intestines, improving eyesight, and promoting hair growth. They are especially suitable for those with insomnia accompanied by constipation, anemia, hair loss, premature graying of hair, and tinnitus.

Chestnut, Red Date, and Black Chicken Stew: Take 1 black chicken, wash it, cut it into pieces, and add 20 peeled chestnuts and 20 red dates to the clay pot. Add water and simmer over low heat until the chicken is tender. This recipe has the effects of strengthening the spleen, nourishing the stomach, replenishing the kidneys, and tonifying essence. It is suitable for those with insomnia and frequent dreams caused by weak spleen and stomach, insufficient qi and blood, loss of appetite, weakness in limbs, lumbago, and irregular menstrual cycle in women.
