The Importance of Postpartum Qi and Blood Supplementation

March 18, 2024

October pregnancy, one delivery. Pregnant mothers expend a lot of energy during childbirth and also lose some blood. For a long time after childbirth, there will be a reaction of Qi and blood deficiency, such as weakness, sweating, and easy fatigue. If the Qi and blood are not replenished in time, it not only damages the new mother's physical essence, but also poses a hidden danger to the family's happiness in the future. Food supplementation is better than medication. Postpartum supplementation must be scientific, effective, and timely.

The dangers of postpartum Qi and blood deficiency

Qi and blood are the driving force and source of human life activities. Excessive blood loss in postpartum women, without new blood production, weak spleen and stomach, and insufficient blood production, directly leads to Qi and blood deficiency. Qi and blood deficiency is usually manifested as dizziness, fatigue, pale complexion, dry and yellow skin, etc. Postpartum women in confinement may lack breast milk due to this, affecting breastfeeding. Qi and blood deficiency will also weaken the function of organs, leading to premature aging of the body.

Supplementing Qi and blood is very necessary for postpartum mothers. Today, I will introduce 5 soups that can supplement blood and benefit Qi, hoping that all mothers can be beautiful and healthy.
