Do you know the symptoms of acne? Do you know how to treat acne? Do you know what to eat for acne? If you don't know, let's find out together!

Treatment for Acne

Treatment for acne depends on the underlying causes and the severity of the condition, and it should be chosen under the guidance of a doctor.

1. Snake Bile Cream

Snake bile cream is made by mixing 0.5 ml of snake bile with cold cream or ordinary snowflake cream, 500 grams each. After washing your face with warm water in the morning and evening, apply the cream evenly on the skin. Snake bile has the function of clearing heat and detoxification. It contains various amino acids that can promote skin metabolism and participate in sebum metabolism. It has the effect of dissolving sebum and is effective in treating acne.

2. Four Yellow Cleanser

Take 50 grams each of rhubarb, scutellaria baicalensis, and phellodendron amurense, and 15 grams of sulfur. Grind the ingredients into fine powder, dissolve the sulfur in 75% alcohol, then add the powdered ingredients into 500 ml of distilled water and shake well. Seal it for 1 week before use. Usage: Apply the medicine with a cotton swab externally, 4-6 times a day. It is suitable for common acne and pustular acne, and has anti-inflammatory and sebum-reducing effects.

3. Acne Removal Ointment

Take 6 grams each of Prunella vulgaris, incised notopterygium root, seaweed, angelica dahurica, and silkworm, and 1.5 grams of coptis chinensis. Add a little borneol and 60 grams of white honey. For severe acne, add chrysanthemum morifolium, bombyx batryticatus, and sophora flavescens, 6 grams each. For cysts or scar nodules, add mylabris and talc, 9 grams each. Grind all the ingredients into fine powder and mix with honey to make an ointment. Apply it externally to the affected area. During the treatment period, avoid consuming alcoholic beverages, greasy foods, and spicy and dry foods.

4. Sulfur Lotion

Grind 10 grams each of sulfur, realgar, mylabris, camphor, radix rehmanniae, and ginkgo biloba, and 3 grams of borneol into fine powder. Add them to 300 ml of 75% alcohol and soak for 5 days. Apply the lotion externally to the affected area, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Symptoms of Acne

The typical symptoms are blackheads, which appear as rounded papules with significantly enlarged hair follicle openings. The oxidized sebum in the hair follicle openings turns black, forming black spots that can be squeezed out.

Whiteheads are small, cone-shaped papules ranging in size from a pinhead to a needle tip. They are skin-colored or grayish-white and are not easily squeezed out.

Inflammatory papules are red and have a diameter of 1-5 mm.

Pustules are uniform in size and filled with white pus.

Nodules have a diameter larger than 5 mm and feel hard and painful when touched.

Cysts are filled with a mixture of pus and blood. After the inflammatory skin lesions subside, they often leave behind pigmentation, persistent redness, concave or hypertrophic scars.
