Methods of Using Ma Dong

Wash the ingredients, then boil Ma Dong and Schisandra Chinensis in 5 bowls of water until it reduces to 2 bowls. Add sliced American ginseng and boil for about 5 minutes before consumption.

3. Combination with Chinese Dates

Remove the pits from the Chinese dates, and soak them with 10 grams of American ginseng and 15 grams of Ma Dong in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes.


Precautions for Drinking Ma Dong Tea

1. Do not consume Ma Dong tea together with wood ear fungus, as it may not nourish and regulate the body but instead harm the health.

2. Patients with weak qi and cold stomach are not suitable for consuming Ma Dong, as it may affect their health.

3. It is best not to consume crucian carp fish together with Ma Dong tea, as it may affect the effectiveness of the medicine.

4. Ma Dong can treat cough and sore throat, but it is not suitable for patients with phlegm caused by cold stomach.

5. If cough occurs during measles, it is not suitable to drink Ma Dong tea.
