  Avoid excessive consumption of yogurt

  Avoid heating yogurt

Milk is rich in nutrients, and the main proteins it contains are casein, followed by lactalbumin and lactoglobulin. Due to the high temperature in summer, bacteria can easily multiply in milk, and after boiling, the milk will be contaminated and bacteria will multiply within a few hours of cooling. This can lead to gastrointestinal diseases when consumed. Therefore, it is better to avoid drinking cold milk in summer and drink hot milk instead. Hot milk not only kills bacteria, but also denatures the proteins in milk, making it easier for the body to digest and absorb.

  Avoid using a thermos to store milk

  Milk is rich in nutrients. If it is stored in a thermos for too long, the temperature inside the thermos will gradually decrease, and bacteria will multiply rapidly when the temperature is suitable. After 4 hours, the milk will become sour and spoiled. If a baby drinks this kind of milk, it can cause diarrhea, indigestion, or food poisoning. Therefore, milk should not be stored in a thermos for a long time, and it should be boiled and consumed immediately. If it is not consumed immediately, it can be stored in a refrigerator (4°C - 10°C).


 

  Avoid eating oranges with milk

  In daily life, many people like to eat fruits such as oranges after drinking milk. However, according to relevant experiments, this eating method is not scientific. After milk enters the stomach and duodenum, the proteins in milk combine with gastric protease and mucosal protease before entering the small intestine. If oranges are eaten at this time, the proteins in milk will solidify with citric acid and vitamin C, which will affect digestion and absorption. The main symptoms after eating these together are bloating, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Therefore, when drinking milk, do not eat fruits rich in citric acid and vitamin C to avoid discomfort.

  Avoid boiling milk and soy milk together

  Milk and soy milk are both high-nutrient foods. Some people think that mixing and boiling milk and soy milk together can complement each other and improve nutritional value. However, this is not scientific. Soy milk contains protease inhibitor, which can stimulate the gastrointestinal tract and inhibit the activity of protease. This substance needs to be destroyed in an environment of 100°C for several minutes. Otherwise, insufficiently boiled soy milk can cause poisoning when consumed. Boiling milk at a high temperature for a long time will destroy the protein and vitamins in the milk, reducing its nutritional value, which is actually a waste. Therefore, milk and soy milk should not be boiled together.

  Avoid eating milk chocolate together

  Milk is rich in protein and calcium, while chocolate is known as an energy food. Chocolate is a high-calorie, high-nutrient confectionery product with a rich cocoa flavor and high fat and oxalic acid content. If milk and chocolate are eaten together, the calcium in milk will combine with the oxalic acid in chocolate to form calcium oxalate. If consumed for a long time, it can cause dry hair, diarrhea, and even calcium deficiency and slow growth. Therefore, milk and chocolate should not be consumed together.
