Centipede grass is a type of cold-resistant traditional Chinese medicine. Both its whole plant and roots can be used medicinally. It has the effect of dispelling wind and dampness, promoting blood circulation, and treating conditions such as rheumatism and joint numbness!
【Cultivation Environment of Centipede Grass】
Centipede grass prefers moist soil and higher air humidity. It requires sufficient watering in spring and autumn to keep the potting soil from drying out, but overwatering should be avoided as it may cause the leaves to wither and fall off.
The most suitable temperature for the growth of centipede grass is 18℃ to 30℃. It should be protected from cold and frost, and the winter temperature needs to be maintained above 10℃. In winter, when the temperature drops below 4℃, it enters a dormant state. If the ambient temperature approaches 0℃, it will die due to frostbite.
Enhance air convection in summer to dissipate the internal heat of the plant. Place it in partial shade or provide 50% shade. Give it proper misting 2 to 3 times a day.
