However, pearls are considered a cooling medicinal substance and should only be consumed by individuals with a hot body constitution. Taking pearl powder without proper guidance may not only fail to achieve the desired anti-aging effects but also pose health risks.

In daily life, many women have a cold body constitution. Prolonged consumption of pearl powder may lead to symptoms such as indigestion, diarrhea, cold limbs, and pale complexion, which are indicative of cold pathogen damaging the body's balance. Additionally, individuals with a cold body constitution, stomach cold, and stone formation should avoid taking pearl powder. Therefore, it is important to consult a doctor to determine one's body constitution before deciding whether to take it internally.

When pearls are used medicinally, they must undergo processing to be ground into a very fine powder similar to flour. Otherwise, it may cause harm to the organs, particularly the spleen and stomach. Grinding pearls into a fine powder promotes gastrointestinal absorption and enhances the therapeutic effect. The finer the powder, the better it is for both internal and external use.
