Wuweizi contains organic acids, so it should not be used in combination with the following drugs.
① Avoid combining with aminoglycosides and macrolide antibiotics, as they can increase urinary acidity and weaken the antibacterial effect of these antibiotics.
② Avoid combining with sulfa drugs and their acetylation products, as this can lead to acid cup conditions, reduce the solubility of sulfa drugs, and cause the precipitation of sulfa drugs in the urinary system, resulting in crystalline urine, hematuria, etc.
Other Chinese medicines that contain organic acids include jinyinhua, shanzhuyu, nüzhengzi, wumei, baishao, shanzha, zhishi, mugua, and chenpi.
