【Location】On the inner side of the knee, when the knee is flexed, behind the inner end of the knee joint, at the posterior edge of the inner condyle of the femur, in the anterior depression of the distal end of the semitendinosus and semimembranosus tendons, specifically above the transverse head groove on the inner side of the knee.
【Anatomy】At the posterior edge of the tibial condyle, above the anterior end of the semitendinosus and semimembranosus tendons, and at the posterior edge of the sartorius muscle; the superficial layer contains the great saphenous vein, and the deep layer contains [other anatomical structures].
