[Location] At the end of the tailbone, at the midpoint of the line connecting the end of the tailbone and the anus.

Anatomy: Located in the rectosacral fascia; it has branches of the anal veins, continuation of the intercoccygeal venous plexus; and is innervated by the caudal nerves and the anal nerves.

Treatment: Diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, rectal bleeding, hemorrhoids, mania, prolapse.

Procedure: Insert the needle obliquely, with the needle tip parallel to the sacrum, to a depth of 0.5-1 inch. Do not penetrate the rectum to avoid infection, and no moxibustion.

Compatibility: Combined with Erbai, Yinlingquan, Shangjuxu, Sanyinjiao for the treatment of hemorrhoids (damp-heat type); combined with Jingguan, Erbai, Baihui (moxibustion) for the treatment of prolapse and hemorrhoids.

Additional Notes: The Du meridian intersects with the Foot Shaoyang and Foot Shaoyin meridians; it is a collaterals point of the Du meridian.
