  【Composition】 50g Rehmannia glutinosa, 50g Angelica sinensis, 500ml Huangjiu (yellow wine)

  

  【Functions】 Nourish blood, stop bleeding.

  
             

 

  【Preparation】

  

  1. Grind the above two herbs into coarse powder;

  

  2. Put them into a pot, pour in the Huangjiu, and boil for 1 hour;

  

  3. Filter out the residue and store in a bottle.

  

  【Usage】 Take 20ml each time, 3 times a day, on an empty stomach when the wine is warm.

  

  【Analysis of Medicinal Properties】

  

  Rehmannia glutinosa: Nourish yin and blood, treat hematemesis, epistaxis, irregular menstruation, and abdominal pain.

  

  Angelica sinensis: Nourish blood, regulate menstruation, relieve pain. The tail of Angelica sinensis has a hemostatic effect. However, Angelica sinensis is slippery in nature, and Rehmannia glutinosa is sticky and greasy. Therefore, it should be used with caution in patients with spleen and stomach deficiency, coldness, dampness obstruction, fullness in the middle, and loose stools.

  

  This wine has the effects of nourishing blood and stopping bleeding, and is mainly used to treat postpartum hemorrhage, abdominal pain, and other conditions.
