　　Sichuan pepper (de-seeded and closed) 1 liang, Aconite (de-skinned and de-navel) 1 liang, raw dried Rehmannia (roasted) 1 liang, Angelica sinensis 1 liang, Achyranthes bidentata (de-seeded) 1 liang, Asarum (de-seeded and de-leaved) 1 liang, Coix seed 1 liang, Sour jujube seed 1 liang, Ephedra (de-rooted) 1 liang, Eucommia bark (de-coarse skin) 1 liang, Bi Xie 1 liang, Acanthopanax bark 1 liang, Silkworm sand 1 liang, Notopterygium incisum (de-lu head) 1 liang.

　　【Functions and Indications】

　　Used for the treatment of hemiplegia in women, muscular atrophy, slurred speech, or difficulty in movement.

　　【Administration and Dosage】

　　All the ingredients are used fresh and chewed. Use 2 dou of good wine, soak for 5 days, and then drink 1 cup at any time at room temperature. It is best to feel slightly intoxicated. In case of emergency, the medicine can be boiled in the wine and taken while hot, or it can be drunk after cooling.

　　【Introduction to the Ingredients】

　　Angelica sinensis: Used for nourishing blood, regulating menstruation, relieving pain, and moisturizing dryness. It is used for irregular menstruation, menstrual blockage and abdominal pain, abdominal masses and accumulations, excessive menstruation or no menstruation; blood deficiency headache, dizziness, weakness and paralysis; dry intestines and difficult bowel movements, recurrent dysentery; boils, sores, sprains and injuries.

　　Aconite: Used for rescuing yang energy, warming and assisting yang energy, dispelling cold and dampness. It is used for excessive yin energy inhibiting yang energy, loss of yang energy due to excessive sweating, vomiting and diarrhea, cold pain in the heart and abdomen, cold diarrhea due to spleen weakness, edema in the legs in children, wind-cold-dampness bi syndrome, strains, spasms, impotence, cold uterus, ulcers, and all diseases caused by sinking coldness and chronic coldness.

　　Asarum: It has the effects of dispelling wind and cold, relieving pain, warming the lungs, and opening nasal passages.

　　Eucommia bark: It has the effects of nourishing the liver and kidneys, strengthening tendons and bones, and stabilizing pregnancy. It is used for kidney deficiency with lumbar pain, weak tendons and bones, bleeding during pregnancy, restless fetal movements, and high blood pressure, etc.
