Kidney and Liver Support Wine: A Recipe for Nourishing Blood and Essence

  【Recipe】500g Polygonum multiflorum, 500g White Polygonum multiflorum, 90g Walnut, 60g Goji Berry, 90g Lotus Seed, 60g Chinese Angelica, 20g Ginger Juice, 90g Honey, 300g Coix Seed, 120g Rehmannia, 30g Ophiopogon, 5kg Glutinous Rice

  

  【Function】Supports kidney and liver health, nourishes blood and essence.

  

  【Preparation】

  

  1. Wash both types of Polygonum multiflorum and boil them in water until soft, then mash them;

  

  2. Except for ginger juice and honey, grind the rest of the herbs into coarse powder and place them in a white cloth bag along with the Polygonum multiflorum, then seal the bag;

  

  3. Grind the Coix Seed into fine powder and set aside;

  
           

 

  4. Wash the Rehmannia with wine, then put it in the water used to boil the Polygonum multiflorum and cook. When the water starts to dry, simmer it over low heat;

  

  5. When the liquid is almost gone, take it out and mash it;

  

  6. Put the glutinous rice in a pot, add 3000ml of water, and cook it over low heat until it becomes a porridge. Then pour it into a clean jar;

  

  7. After it cools, add the fine Coix Seed powder and mix well with a willow branch. Seal the jar and place it in a warm place to ferment. Open it when there is a wine aroma;

  

  8. Pour the mashed Rehmannia into the wine lees, mix well with a willow branch, seal the jar, and open it after 3-5 days;

  

  9. Press and remove the wine lees, store the liquid in a clean jar, and hang the herb bag in the wine;

  

  10. Place the jar in a pot, heat it in water for about 80 minutes, then take it out and bury it in the ground;

  

  11. After 5 days, take out the wine jar, open it, remove the herb bag, refine the honey, pour it into the wine, and filter it again. Store it in bottles for later use.

  

  【Usage】Take 10-20ml each time, 3 times a day, on an empty stomach.
