【Recipe】
4 liang of Jingjie spikes, half jin of soybeans (fried until smoke appears, then soak in 1 liter of good wine, remove the soybeans).

【Usage and Dosage】
Add 3 liters of water and cook with the wine until reduced by half. Remove the residue and drink it warm.
【Contraindications】
Do not use for individuals with spontaneous sweating and Yin deficiency with excessive fire.
【Efficacy and Functions of Jingjie】
"Ben Jing Feng Yuan": Stops postpartum bleeding, treats black stools in children. Avoid eating river puffer fish, all scaleless fish, and donkey meat; after eating yellow fish, taking Jingjie can cause vomiting blood, but ground ginger can counteract the effect. Eating Jingjie together with crabs can cause wind movements.
"Ben Cao Cong Xin": Induces sweating, disperses wind and dampness, clears the throat, clears the head and eyes. Treats headache in typhoid fever, tongue stiffness from wind, and strong and stiff neck.
1. Treats wind-heat headache: Jingjie spikes and gypsum in equal amounts, ground into powder. Take 2 qian (6 grams) per dose, mixed with tea. (From "Yong Lei Qin Fang")
2. Treats various eye diseases, blood exhaustion, wind-qi headaches, and dizziness: Take 3 qian (9 grams) of Jingjie spikes with wine. (From "Yan Ke Long Mu Lun")
3. Treats wind-heat lung congestion, swollen and painful throat, difficulty speaking, feeling of obstruction in the throat: Take half liang (15 grams) of Jingjie spikes, 2 liang (60 grams) of Jie Geng, and 1 liang (30 grams) of Licorice (fried). Grind into coarse powder. Take 4 qian (12 grams) per dose, boil with a bowl of water and 3 slices of ginger, simmer for 6 minutes, remove the residue, and drink it warm after meals.
