Lotus Leaf Tea: Natural Cooling and Healing Elixir

1. Lotus Leaf Tea

Ingredients: 10g lotus leaf, 3g green tea, 12g rock sugar

Method: Brew with 300ml boiling water, drink when the taste is light.

Function: Clears heat, promotes diuresis, clears yang, and stops bleeding.

Uses: Diarrhea, dizziness, nausea, and headache in summer.

2. Lotus Leaf and Lianqiao Tea

Ingredients: 5g lotus leaf, Lianqiao (Forsythia suspensa), 3g Poria cocos, 3g dried tangerine peel, 3g Perilla frutescens, 5g green tea.

Method: Put the lotus leaf, Lianqiao, Poria cocos, dried tangerine peel, and Perilla frutescens in a pot, boil with 400ml water, then brew with green tea. Can also be brewed directly.

Function: Raises clear yang, eliminates dampness, and reduces swelling.

Uses: Wind-cold headache with swollen and painful bumps on the head, chills and fever, symptoms similar to typhoid fever.

4. Four Fresh Tea

Ingredients: 5g fresh lotus leaf, 3g fresh Artemisia argyi, 3g fresh cypress leaf, 3g fresh Rehmannia glutinosa.

Method: Brew with 300ml boiling water, drink when the taste is light.

Uses: Heat and dampness caused by external factors, such as fever, headache, chest stuffiness, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, malaria, bad breath.

8. Huoxiang Lingzhu Tea

Ingredients: 3g patchouli, 2g Poria cocos, 2g Pinellia ternata, 2g white Atractylodes, 2g Magnolia officinalis, 3g green tea.

Method: Boil patchouli, Poria cocos, Pinellia ternata, white Atractylodes, and Magnolia officinalis with 400ml water, then brew with green tea for 10 minutes. Can also be brewed directly.

Function: Releases exterior, regulates the middle burner, promotes qi circulation, and eliminates dampness.

Uses: Wind-cold invasion, internal dampness, cold and fever, headache, chest and abdominal distension, abdominal pain, diarrhea, borborygmus, nausea.

9. Huoxiang and Hua Shi Tea

Ingredients: 5g patchouli, 3g talcum powder, 0.5g clove, 3g green tea.

Method: Brew with 250ml boiling water, drink when the taste is light.

Function: Clears heat and eliminates dampness.

Uses: Excessive dampness in summer causing persistent diarrhea.

10. Huixing Tea

Ingredients: 5g patchouli, 3g dried tangerine peel, 3g green tea.

11. Huoxiang and Gao Liangjiang Tea

12. Huo Gan Tea

Function: Eliminates dampness and detoxifies.

Uses: Damp-heat constipation, mouth and tongue sores.

15. Huoxiang and Shigao Tea

16. Huoyin Tea

Ingredients: 5g patchouli, 3g Artemisia scoparia, 3g green tea.
