Using the back of the thumb joint as the focus, performing finger meditation technique is known as finger flexion technique. The practitioner flexes the thumb and applies pressure to the treatment area with the radial or dorsal side of the thumb joint, while the other four fingers form a loose fist. Then, the practitioner relaxes the shoulders, lowers the elbows, and suspends the wrists, using the wrist as the main axis for horizontal swinging, allowing the generated force to continuously act on the treatment area. This technique has the effects of promoting meridian circulation, relieving muscle spasms, and alleviating pain.
Indications: Neck and shoulder pain, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, and joint pain in the limbs.
