(1) Rubbing the thighs: Press the base of both palms tightly on the upper part of the thigh and rub downwards to the knee. It can prevent and treat soreness and weakness in the thighs, as well as muscle atrophy from walking.

(2) Rubbing the knees: Bend the knee joint, and use the base of both palms near the base of the thumb to firmly press on the depressions on both sides of the patellar ligament of the knee joint. This is the location of the Xiyan acupoint. Then gently rotate and rub the skin and flesh in that area. After finishing one knee, rub the other. It can promote blood circulation, regulate menstruation, and clear heat from the blood.

(3) Pinching and grasping the calf: Pinch and grasp the calf from top to bottom to prevent and treat calf soreness, weakness, and gastrocnemius muscle spasms.

(4) Patting the lower limbs: Gently pat the lower limbs with the base of both palms to prevent and treat soreness, numbness, and other symptoms in the lower limbs.

(5) Rocking the ankles: Hold the lower part of the calf with one hand and the dorsum of the foot with the other hand, then rotate and rock the ankle joint. It has a lubricating effect on the joints and can prevent ankle sprains and other injuries.

(6) Rubbing the feet: Sit with the knees bent and crossed, use one hand's palm near the pinky finger side to repeatedly rub the inner side and bottom of the opposite foot. Generally, start from the back of the inner ankle, diagonally rub down to the sole, and rub back and forth. This can prevent and treat insomnia, high blood pressure, headaches, dizziness, throat problems, night sweats, diarrhea, frequent urination, irregular menstruation, heel pain, gout, and neurasthenia.
