Homemade Herbal Teas for Stabilizing Blood Pressure

Hypertension is a common disease in our lives, especially among middle-aged and elderly people. However, due to the improvement of living standards and increased work pressure, the incidence of hypertension is becoming younger. Since hypertension cannot be cured, stabilizing blood pressure can only rely on medication and lifestyle and dietary adjustments. (1) Er Zi Tea

Ingredients: 50g Cassia Seed, 15g Goji Berry, 50g Rock Sugar.

Blood pressure should be measured frequently during the consumption to prevent dizziness caused by relatively low blood pressure.

(3) Cassia Seed and Luo Bu Ma Tea

Ingredients: 12g Cassia Seed, 10g Luo Bu Ma.


Method: Brew the two ingredients with boiling water for 15 minutes and then drink. Drink one dose daily, at any time. It has the functions of clearing heat, calming the liver. It is suitable for hypertension patients with symptoms of dizziness and restlessness, especially those with excessive liver yang.

(4) Goji Berry and Cassia Seed Tea

Ingredients: 10g Goji Berry, 10g Cassia Seed, 3g Chrysanthemum, 6g Sophora Flower.

Method: Brew with boiling water and drink as tea. Drink one dose daily. It has the functions of nourishing the liver and kidneys, calming the liver, and lowering blood pressure. It is effective for hypertension patients with yin deficiency and excessive yang.

(5) Chrysanthemum and Hawthorn Tea

Ingredients: 10g Chrysanthemum, 10g Tea Leaves, 30g Hawthorn.

Method: Put the three ingredients in a teapot and brew with boiling water. Drink one dose daily, frequently. It has the functions of clearing the liver, lowering blood pressure, reducing fat, and resolving phlegm. It is suitable for hypertension, coronary heart disease, and hyperlipidemia patients.

All of the above herbal teas have the effect of stabilizing blood pressure and relieving symptoms of hypertension. They are very suitable for hypertensive patients to drink, especially when combined with Western medicine for blood pressure reduction, the effect is even better.
