Detoxification: The Key to Men's Health and Fitness

March 28, 2024

After the beginning of autumn, the weather gets cooler, and many men start to supplement their bodies to enhance their physical fitness. In fact, detoxification is more important than supplementation, because the more supplements you take, the more "waste" metabolism produces. If toxins from both external and internal environment of the human body are not eliminated in time, the harm to health will become greater and greater. So, men should not forget detoxification when supplementing.

1. Diet Detoxification

Eliminate toxic substances from the body through a reasonable diet. The main aspects are as follows:

First, liver detoxification: The liver is an important detoxification organ. We can eat more carrots, garlic, grapes, figs, etc. in our daily diet to help the liver detoxify.

Second, kidney detoxification: The kidneys are important organs for detoxification. They filter toxins and waste products from protein breakdown in the blood and excrete them through urine. Cucumbers, cherries, and other fruits and vegetables help the kidneys detoxify.

Third, intestinal detoxification: The intestine can quickly eliminate toxins. However, if digestion is poor, toxins can accumulate in the intestines and be reabsorbed, causing great harm to health. Many foods such as konjac, black fungus, kelp, pig blood, apples, strawberries, honey, and brown rice can help the digestive system detoxify.

2. Exercise Detoxification

Reasonable exercise can accelerate the body's metabolism and help the skin and lungs detoxify.

First, brisk walking: We walk every day, just speed up and swing and stretch your arms as much as possible while walking. It is the simplest and most convenient detoxification exercise. It can stimulate the lymphatic system, lower cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Second, practice yoga: Yoga is an excellent detoxification exercise that can help with blood circulation and lubricate joints. It regulates the body internally and externally by applying pressure to various organs and muscles.

Third, jump up: Bouncing can stimulate the lymphatic system to detoxify, relax tense emotions, lower cholesterol, improve circulation and respiration, and even eliminate life-threatening cellulitis.

3. Coughing Detoxification

After the beginning of autumn, the air becomes dry, and there is more floating dust, harmful gases, metal particles, and toxic substances in industrial waste gas. These toxins enter the alveoli and bronchi through respiration, which not only damages the lungs themselves but also infiltrates the blood and affects the whole body. Therefore, it is helpful to use active coughing to clean the respiratory system.

The specific method is: Every morning, noon, or before going to bed, go to a place with fresh air outdoors and do deep breathing exercises. When inhaling deeply, slowly raise your arms. When exhaling, let the air flow out from your mouth and nose, cough out phlegm. Repeat this process 10 times, and after each repetition, take a few normal breaths to prevent excessive ventilation. As long as you do this every day, your lungs will stay clean.
