Traditional Chinese Medicine: Effective Methods for Weight Loss

With the improvement of our living standards, the number of obese people is increasing. Many people are worried about gaining weight and dare not eat, but they still can't stop the reality of getting fatter. Below, I will recommend several healthy methods of traditional Chinese medicine for weight loss!


1. Take 30 grams of wolfberries daily, brew it as tea and drink it in the morning and evening, continuously for 7 weeks. There are no restrictions on the use of this medicine, and generally, after one month, weight can decrease by 2.6 kilograms.

2. Use the following herbs: Ma Wei Lian, Fu Ling, Bai Zhu, Jin Yin Hua, Da Fu Pi, and Sheng Da Huang. This formula is suitable for obese people with damp-heat accumulation in the intestines and stomach, aiming to resolve turbidity, benefit dampness, and promote bowel movements.

3. Take 100 grams of dried lotus leaves, 250 grams of hawthorn, 100 grams of Zhe Bei Mu, 50 grams of soapweed (processed with fire), 50 grams of aged tangerine peel, and 50 grams of raw rhubarb. Grind these herbs into a fine powder for one treatment dose. Take 50 grams of dried herbs daily, soak them in boiling water, extract 300 milliliters of juice, and divide it into two doses per day. One treatment period lasts for one month.

4. Take 40 grams of Yin Chen, 20 grams of Shou Wu, 30 grams of Jin Ying Zi, 30 grams of Huang Jing, 15 grams of raw hawthorn, 20 grams of Dan Shen, 10 grams of Da Huang, 5 grams of San Qi powder, 15 grams of Ze Yan, and 20 grams of kudzu root. Decoct them in water and take it twice daily.

5. Take 30 grams of Ju Ming Zi, 15 grams each of Ze Yan and Yu Li Ren, 10 grams each of Huo Ma Ren and Shan Zha, grind them into powder. Each bag contains 20 grams, take it three times a day, 1-2 bags each time, 30 minutes before meals.

6. Take 10 grams each of Fan Xie Ye, Tao Ren, Zhu Ling, Zhi Qiao, and Huang Qi, grind them into powder. Take 10 grams each time, brew it with boiling water, and take it 1-3 times a day. One treatment period lasts for 30 days.

7. Use the following herbs: Huang Qi, Fu Ling, Chen Pi, Ze Xie, Ban Xia, and Sheng Da Huang. This formula tonifies Qi, invigorates the spleen, and eliminates dampness. It is suitable for obese people with deficiency of Qi and excessive phlegm turbidity.

8. Use the following herbs: Long Dan Cao, Jin Qian Cao, Yin Chen, Wei Zi, Yu Jin, Cao Ju Ming, Ze Xie, and He Ye. This formula is used for obese people with phlegm dampness transforming into heat and liver heat rising, aiming to clear the liver, promote bile, and resolve turbidity.
