Effective TCM Massage Methods for Weight Loss and Slimming Legs

Here, I will introduce a good TCM massage method for weight loss, which will help you easily achieve a slim figure.

Every night before bed and in the morning when you wake up, lie on your back with your legs bent or lie on your left or right side. Use your hands or one hand to grab your belly as hard as you can, kneading and pinching from left to right or right to left for 15 minutes. Then, knead and pinch from top to bottom or bottom to top in the same order. During this process, your abdomen may feel sore, bloated, or slightly painful. Adjust the intensity to a bearable level. After 15 minutes, use your hands to massage your abdomen horizontally. After a few days, the soreness, bloating, and slight pain in the abdomen will decrease or even disappear, gradually becoming a comfortable feeling. You can also ask a family member to help with this kneading and pinching method. After half a month, you will see good results in terms of a slim and toned abdomen.

Exercises for Slimming Legs

1. Stand with your toes on the ground and lift your heels. Extend your arms forward, bend your knees, slowly squat down, and then stand up. Repeat 10 times.

2. Stand with your feet apart, extend your arms to the sides, tighten your lower abdomen, and keep your back straight. Shift your body weight to the right, bend your right knee; shift your body weight to the left, bend your left knee. Do this 10 times on each side.

3. Stand upright, cross your hands on your waist, lift your left heel, and then lower it. Lift your right heel while lowering your left heel. Alternate between your feet for 20 times.

4. Stand on your toes, extend your arms upward, slowly squat until your buttocks touch your calves, and your hands move from above your head to your chest. Then, slowly stand up. Repeat 5 times.


Weight Loss for the Elderly

In the morning when you wake up and at night before going to bed, place your left hand below your abdomen and your right hand above your abdomen. Rub your abdomen 108 times in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, then use your middle and ring fingers to press 108 times at a point 3.3 centimeters below your navel. After that, rub your stomach 108 times up and down with both hands. By persistently massaging and pressing, you can effectively reduce your waist circumference.
