Turning the feet over

Stirrups and leg clenches

Common breaststroke leg kick errors

If both feet are not stroked out correctly at the same time, and only one foot is out, it will lead to a rotation in place without advancement, which is the result of one foot stroking correctly and the other swinging incorrectly without propulsion.

How to solve breaststroke stirrups problems

The best way to correct these common flaws is to perform the strokes on your back, with a float under your arms for support. The swimmer can then sit up slightly and observe his or her stirrups. Before attempting the strokes, first make a conscious effort to synchronize the feet and make sure the legs and feet are symmetrical and correct.
