Badminton is a simple sport, many people like to play badminton to fitness, also think badminton is very simple to play, as long as you learn to serve and can catch the ball on the ball. Singles receive the ball ready to stand (based on the right hand grip): usually should be the left foot in front, right foot in the back, side to the net, body weight on the front foot, knee slightly curved, rear heel slightly raised, tucked abdomen and chest, watching each other's serve action; doubles receive the ball ready position and singles basically the same, but the knee joint flexed more, so that you can directly back pedal jump. In the right zone, you should stand near the center line to prevent the serving side from attacking the overhead area with a flat shot. In the left zone, you should stand midway between the center line and the side line. Doubles receiving serve is more elaborate than singles. The general receiving serve stand method is to stand at a proper distance from the center line and the front serve line.

Forehand grip posture

Before gripping the racket, hold the cue with your left hand, let the ball frame stand up and make 90 degrees with the ground. Then put the tiger's mouth on the frame with the thumb and the inside of the index finger against the wide side of the racket and the bottom of the handle against the small fish. Next, hold the racket with your middle finger, ring finger and little finger in order. You want to check if the grip is right. After holding the racket with your forehand, see if the tiger's mouth is in a straight line with the ball frame; drop your arm naturally to see if the racket head is perpendicular to the ground.

Backhand grip

The basic backhand grip is to turn the racket frame outward on the basis of the forehand grip, or to the right in the case of a right-handed grip, with the front inner thumb on the wide side of the inside of the racket, or the front inner thumb on the narrow rib of the handle.

Forehand net roll grip position

On the basis of the forehand grip, all fingers except the little thumb are relaxed slightly, so that the handle leaves the palm, the thumb is placed diagonally against the upper small edge of the handle, and the index finger is extended slightly forward so that the second finger strap is placed diagonally against the wide surface of the handle.

Backhand net roll grip position

On the basis of the forehand grip, all fingers are slightly relaxed except for the little finger. The handle leaves the palm and the racket is turned slightly inward, with the thumb on the upper small edge of the handle and the third joint of the index finger on the lower small edge of the handle.

Forehand grip for hooking diagonal net balls

On the basis of the forehand grip, the racket handle is turned slightly outward, the thumb is placed diagonally on the wide surface of the inside of the handle, the second knuckle of the index finger and the roots of the other three fingers are placed on the wide surface of the outside of the handle, and the handle is not placed on the palm.

Backhand grip for hooking diagonal net balls

On the basis of the forehand grip, the thumb, index finger, middle finger and ring finger are loosened slightly, the handle leaves the palm, while the handle is turned inward, the inner side of the second knuckle of the thumb is attached to the upper small edge of the inner side of the handle, the second knuckle of the index finger is attached to the lower middle wide side of the handle, and the remaining three fingers are naturally grasped on the lower middle wide side and the wide side of the inner side of the handle.

Badminton ball-holding posture

When playing badminton, you can hold the ball in two ways: by lightly squeezing the top of the feather with your fingers and the ball rest partly down or by lightly holding the ball above the ball rest with your five fingers and the ball rest partly down. The requirement when serving is precision, so in fact, any way of holding the ball will do as long as it can be made stable.

Serve stroke method

There are two ways to serve the ball, one is to throw up the ball, that is, one hand to throw down the badminton, the other hand while swinging the racket, so that the front track of the racket and the meeting point of the badminton landing point, become an instant hitting point of the way to hit the ball. Can make the ball fly high and far; another way is not to throw the ball, retract the arm holding the racket, while the hand holding the badminton to touch the racket action. It is possible to hit the ball into the opponent's receiving field with a short stroke.

Serving high balls

To serve a high ball is to hit the ball near the end line of the opponent's court and drop it vertically from a very high position with the aim of making the opponent back up. The correct posture is to throw the ball gently with the left foot forward and the right foot behind, swing the racket while the ball leaves the hand, preferably bending the arm and hitting the ball a split second before straightening it out, using the twist of the wrist to make the racket swing over the left shoulder so that the ball flies high and far.

Serve flat and high

The difference between this method of serving and serving a high ball is that it is faster and lower in height. At the moment of hitting the ball, the wrist force is rapid, the racket net surface makes a large angle of inclination (obtuse angle) with the badminton, and let the racket rub the ball a little to ensure that the ball flies fast and low to the opponent's field. Serving short and low balls

When serving a short ball, it is best to touch the racket with the badminton and hit the ball with a small swing.
