Protein: 1.65%, dietary fiber: 2.3%, total sugar: 27.3%. It contains 19 amino acids, including aspartic acid, glutamic acid, and serine. Eight of the essential amino acids for the human body are present, with a total content of 0.985 milligrams per 100 grams. It also contains 0.26% total flavonoids, 0.87% niacin, 0.1% vitamin B1, 2.2% vitamin B2, and a particularly rich amount of vitamin C, which is 70 times that of apples, 140 times that of pears, and 20 times that of golden jujube. In addition, winter jujube contains abundant vitamin A, vitamin E, and various trace elements such as potassium, sodium, iron, and copper.

Health benefits of winter jujube

Winter jujube fruit contains a variety of trace elements such as vitamin A, vitamin E, potassium, sodium, iron, and copper. It has the functions of keeping capillaries open and preventing increased fragility of blood vessel walls. It is effective in treating hypertension and atherosclerosis and has anti-cancer effects.

Precautions for eating winter jujube
