The most effective anti-aging ingredients The four most effective anti-aging ingredients in fruits

September 23, 2023
Fruits are well hydrated and contain various nutrients, and a little bit of them every day can be anti-aging. The reason why fruits have anti-aging effects is that they contain a large number of plant compounds. The following four categories of natural plant compounds are commonly found in fruits.

Carotenoids

One of the big reasons you can stay young by eating more fruits and vegetables is that they contain large amounts of carotenoids. Carotenoids are a type of pigment found in many fruits and vegetables and are by far the hottest "antioxidant star". It contains more than 600 natural components, of which carotenoids, lycopene, lutein and zeaxanthin have the most significant effects on anti-cancer, anti-aging, skin protection, prevention of chronic diseases, macular degeneration in the eyes of the elderly, protection against UV and radiation damage, and protection of liver cells from oxidative damage. Carotenoids cannot be synthesized by the body itself and must be consumed in the diet. Carotenoids can be identified by the red, orange and yellow colors found in foods like tomatoes, carrots and apricots, and basically any fruit or vegetable with color. In addition, broad-leaved dark green vegetables such as spinach, kale, and cauliflower also contain significant amounts of carotenoids. Lycopene, a red substance found in tomatoes, is a type of carotenoid.

Carotenoids

It can maintain healthy eyes and skin, improve night blindness and rough skin, help protect the body from free radical damage and delay aging. It has a preventive effect on certain tumors, improves lung function, and reduces complications of diabetes. It is mostly found in yellow and orange fruits, such as mangoes, apricots, melons and papayas.

Lycopene

A powerful antioxidant that eliminates free radicals, prevents cell damage, and repairs damaged cells, helping to prevent cardiovascular disease, prostate cancer, and breast cancer. It is mostly found in tomatoes, dark red grapes, watermelon and other fruits.

Lutein

Also called phyto-luteinizing hormone, it helps to protect the eyesight of the elderly, reduce the occurrence of cataracts, and has a preventive effect on the occurrence of certain tumors. It is mostly contained in fruits such as kiwi, grapes and oranges. Spinach and kale are also foods rich in lutein and zeaxanthin.

Flavonoid substances

Another reason why eating more fruit keeps you young is that fruit contains large quantities of flavonoids. A daily intake of 31 mg of flavonoids is effective in slowing down arterial aging and immune system aging, rapidly changing your true age. Like carotenoids, flavonoids are antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances found in plants. It is a group of compounds derived from fruits, vegetables, tea, wine, seeds or plant roots, and is an umbrella term for a variety of substances with similar structures and activities. They have 50 times more anti-gasification capacity than vitamin E and 20 times more than vitamin C. They also regulate immunity, have an inhibitory effect on cancer cells, prevent cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease, fight skin aging and other health benefits related to free radicals. The foods with the highest flavonoid content are lingonberries, onions, green tea, strawberries, cauliflower, celery, apples and grapes. One reason for red wine's anti-aging and anti-cancer properties is that it contains large amounts of flavonoids, including leucovorin.

Anthocyanins

Also known as super antioxidants, they are useful for antioxidant, anti-aging and cancer prevention. They are also useful for cataracts, macular degeneration and retinopathy, which are common in the elderly. Grapes, strawberries, blueberries, apples, cherries, and cedar berries are the most abundant.

Rutin

It can increase the activity of vitamin 0 and strengthen the effect of vitamin 0, which has a significant delaying effect on aging. It is mostly contained in blueberries, cherries, strawberries, plums, kiwis and other fruits.

Quercetin

Quercetin has good biological effects, such as anti-gasification, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-tumor and inhibition of tyrosinase activity and other effects. It is mostly contained in apples, pears, cherries, grapes and other fruits.

Naringin and hesperidin

They can inhibit excessive free radicals, effectively lower high blood sugar and reduce the incidence of diabetes. They are mostly found in fruits such as oranges, grapes, and lemons.

Resveratrol

It is a natural polyphenol with anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects, and provides a large amount of antioxidant components, which are essential for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Red grape skins are extremely rich in it.

Phenolic acids

Ellagic acid is a polyphenol component found in natural berries. Whitening, in addition to sun protection, is to find ways to lighten melanin, and ellagic acid has both of these effects. Grapes, blueberries, strawberries, cherries and other fruits contain presented abundantly.
