2. Wash the lotus seeds, soak them in cold water until soft, and remove the cores.

3. Add about 2000 milliliters of cold water to a pot, and add the lotus seeds, coix seeds, and glutinous rice. Bring to a boil over high heat.

4. Reduce to low heat and simmer until it becomes porridge. Add rock sugar to taste, and let it simmer for a while before serving.
