Food to Avoid with Fatty Liver
1. Foods high in fat and cholesterol.
You should know that fatty liver itself is a lipid metabolism disorder, mainly caused by excessive intake of high-fat and high-cholesterol foods such as fatty meat, animal liver, and pig trotters. If you don't restrict these foods, your condition will only worsen, and the treatment effect will also be poorer.
2. Foods high in sugar.
You should know that the liver is responsible for metabolizing sugar. Fatty liver patients already have weak liver function. If you intake too much sugar, it will put a huge burden on the liver. The liver cannot metabolize these sugars in time, and they will not be absorbed by the body and easily converted into fat.
3. Alcohol.
Alcohol contains alcohol that needs to be metabolized by the liver. As mentioned earlier, fatty liver patients have extremely poor liver function, so drinking alcohol will only further burden the liver.
