Morning Rituals for a Healthy Body and Mind

First thing: Take a deep breath: After waking up in the morning, don't rush to get up. Lie still for 5 minutes, then stretch to the left side, then to the right side, and finally lie on your back. During this time, stretch and yawn 3 times to fully extend and move your joints. Then, take 10 deep breaths in a row, extending your arms and tiptoeing, and then laugh once (this takes about 4 minutes in total).

Second thing: Have a bowel movement: Try to have a bowel movement every morning and develop the habit. When having a bowel movement, it is best to recall the happiest and most enjoyable things from the past few days, or think about the most beautiful things today and in the future. This change in mental and emotional state helps with intestinal peristalsis, ensuring smooth bowel movements and complete elimination (usually takes 3 to 5 minutes).

Third thing: Look in all four directions: Stand still, look straight ahead, first gaze into the distance to the east; then, half-close your eyes and lower your head, turn around and gaze into the distance to the south; then, half-close your eyes and lower your head, turn around and gaze into the distance to the west; finally, half-close your eyes and lower your head, turn around and gaze into the distance to the north (this also takes about 4 minutes in total).

By exercising the joints, eliminating waste gases, enhancing lung capacity, exercising and protecting vision, and improving the central nervous system function.
