Location: On the inner side of the lower leg, posterior and inferior to the medial condyle of the tibia, 1 cun posterior to the Spleen Meridian, and on the upper part of the inner head of the gastrocnemius muscle.

Anatomy: Located posterior and inferior to the medial condyle of the tibia, on the upper part of the inner head of the gastrocnemius muscle. It has the posterior tibial artery deep within, and is innervated by the medial cutaneous nerve of the calf, with the deep layer being innervated by the tibial nerve.

Indications: Swelling and pain of the knee joint.

Technique: Straight insertion, 0.8-1.5 cun.

Combination: Combining with Zu San Li, Xue Hai, Yin Shi, Yang Ling Quan, Bi Guan, Fu Tu, and Feng Long can be used for treating stroke-induced lower limb dysfunction, infantile paralysis, etc. Combining with Wei Zhong and Zu San Li can be used for treating redness, swelling, and pain in both knees.
