【Location】On the back, at the middle line, in the depression below the seventh thoracic vertebrae spinous process.
【Anatomy】In the lumbar back fascia, supraspinous ligament and interspinous ligament; it has the posterior branch of the seventh intercostal artery, interspinous vein plexus; it is innervated by the posterior branch of the seventh intercostal nerve.
【Indications】Chest and hypochondriac pain, jaundice, cough and asthma, spinal stiffness, back pain.
【Technique】Obliquely insert the needle for 0.5 to 1 inch.
【Combination】Combined with Quchi, Yanglingquan, and Piyu to treat jaundice; combined with Tianshu, Dachangshu to treat abdominal distension, borborygmus, and diarrhea; combined with Neiguan, Shenmen to treat palpitations and chest pain.
