【Location】Located in the sacrum, along the midline, directly opposite the sacral canal fissure.
【Anatomy】Located in the sacral ligament and lumbar fascia; contains posterior branches of the sacral artery and vein, and venous plexus between the spinous processes; also has branches of the caudal nerves.
【Indications】Used for severe lumbar pain, diarrhea, constipation, hemorrhoids, epilepsy, irregular menstruation, and lower limb paralysis.
【Procedure】Insert the needle obliquely upwards for 0.5 to 1 inch.
【Combination】Can be paired with bladder point (moxibustion), Changqiang, Qichong, and Shang.
