【Location】Located in the lumbar region, along the posterior midline, in the depression below the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra.
【Anatomy】Located in the lumbar back fascia, supraspinous ligament, and interspinous ligament; contains the posterior branch of the lumbar artery and the venous plexus between the spinous processes; innervated by the medial branch of the posterior branch of the lumbar nerve.
【Indications】Lumbar and sacral pain, irregular menstruation, abnormal vaginal discharge, nocturnal emission, impotence.
【Procedure】Insert the needle obliquely upwards for 0.5-1 cun.
【Combination】Tonify Lumbar Passageway, Kidney Shu, and others.
