【Location】On the back, along the midline, in the depression below the spinous process of the ninth thoracic vertebra.
【Anatomy】In the lumbar fascia, supraspinous ligament, and interspinous ligament; it has a posterior branch of the ninth intercostal artery, a venous plexus between the spinous processes; and is innervated by the medial branch of the posterior branch of the ninth intercostal nerve.
【Indications】Mania, epilepsy, convulsions, spinal stiffness, stomach ache.
【Technique】Oblique insertion of 0.5-1 cun.
【Combination】Combined with Sun and Chong channels to treat childhood epilepsy and Chong disorders.
