During the Spring Festival reunion, it is inevitable to eat more meat and fried foods, coupled with reduced physical activity, the feeling of bloated stomach and intestines may emerge, leading to loss of appetite, tasteless food, constipation, bitter taste in the mouth, and restless sleep. These symptoms are often caused by indigestion. Here, I would like to share a tea recipe that can help improve digestion and promote healthy spleen and stomach. Interested friends can give it a try.
Ingredients: Pu'er tea leaves, aged tangerine peel, water.
Tools: Electric kettle, thermos flask.
Tea brewing process: Boil water using an electric kettle. After the water boils, add the selected Pu'er tea leaves and about 300 milliliters of water to the kettle. Repeat the process of boiling the water twice. Discard all the tea brewed during this step. Place a small piece of aged tangerine peel in the kettle and pour 1300 milliliters of freshly boiled water from the electric kettle into the thermos flask (do not directly add cold water). Set the function switch of the thermos flask to the "health-preserving herbal tea" mode. Let it automatically boil and simmer. This usually takes about one and a half hours, and approximately 0.8 liters of tea soup should remain.
During the tea brewing process in the thermos flask, there may be many bubbles, so be careful not to fill it with too much water.
After the thermos flask stops working, let it sit for 2 minutes until the tea settles, and then pour the tea into a thermos flask while it is still hot. Let it steep for 15 to 30 minutes in the thermos flask before drinking.
It is best to drink the tea while it is hot, but not too "hot". If it cools down, it can be reheated slightly. The tea soup brewed from high-quality Pu'er tea leaves has a smooth and full-bodied taste, with a hint of sweetness and no bitterness.
