April 7, 2024

The patient lies in a supine position, and the surgeon places the palms of both hands on the lower edge of the patient's ribs on both sides, gradually inserting them into the waist and using force to lift and support the waist, slightly lifting it off the bed surface. Then, the surgeon uses the tips of the middle, ring, and little fingers of both hands as the focal point, respectively massaging the first lateral line of the bladder meridian on both sides of the patient's back, starting from the point of Stomach Shu, passing through points of Triple Burner Shu, Kidney Shu, Qi Sea Shu, and ending at Large Intestine Shu. The technique is performed from top to bottom, from light to heavy, from slow to fast, repeatedly performed several times, with the effects of promoting digestion, regulating qi, relaxing tendons, and unblocking meridians. It is mainly used to treat disorders of gastrointestinal function, abdominal pain, pediatric indigestion, and gynecological pelvic inflammation, among other conditions.
