Nourishing Kidney Porridge Recipes for Men: A Guide to Protecting the Vital Organ

Ingredients: 20g of Yang Lock herb, 250g of lean goat meat, 60g of glutinous rice.

Preparation: Boil the Yang Lock herb in a sand pot and extract the juice. Wash and cut the goat meat into pieces. Cook the goat meat and glutinous rice together to make porridge. Add a little salt, 2 spring onions, and 3 slices of ginger for seasoning. Take 1 dose per day, once in the morning and once in the evening.

(2) Walnut Porridge

Ingredients: 50g of walnuts, 60g of husked rice.

Preparation: Cook the walnuts and husked rice together to make porridge.

Suitable for symptoms such as neurasthenia, insomnia, forgetfulness, weak lower back and knees, premature graying of hair, coldness and cough due to deficiency, and constipation caused by insufficient body fluids in the elderly or after illness. (3) Goat Meat Porridge

Ingredients: 250g of goat meat, 60g of glutinous rice.

Preparation: Cook the goat meat first, then chop it into small pieces. Wash the glutinous rice and cook it with an appropriate amount of water to make porridge. When the porridge is half-cooked, add the goat meat and continue cooking until fully cooked. Eat the meat and drink the porridge.

Function: Tonifies qi, replenishes deficiency, warms the middle, and warms the lower. Preparation: Wash and cut the goat meat into pieces. Add washed husked rice, and cook until thickened. Eat on an empty stomach.

Function: Nourishes kidney yang and replenishes essence and blood. Suitable for symptoms such as kidney deficiency yang phlegm, nocturnal emission, coldness and pain in the lower back and knees, and dull complexion.
