Men should massage these three areas to care for their kidneys:

1. Massage the Yongquan acupoint:

Sit with your legs crossed and barefoot. Use your left thumb to press and rotate the Yongquan acupoint on your right foot (the outside of the base of the big toe) 15 times in a counterclockwise direction and 15 times in a clockwise direction.

Then, use your right hand to press the same acupoint on your left foot using the same technique.

2. Massage the Taichong acupoint:

Sit with your legs crossed. Use your left thumb to press and slide along the gap between the first and second metatarsal bones on your right foot (on the back of the foot) for 20 times.

Then, use your right hand to press the same acupoint on your left foot using the same technique.

3. Massage the Sanyinjiao acupoint:

Sit with your legs crossed. Use your left thumb to press and rotate the Sanyinjiao acupoint on your right leg (3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, along the posterior border of the tibia) 15 times in a counterclockwise direction and 15 times in a clockwise direction.

Then, use your right hand to press the same acupoint on your left leg using the same technique.

Men should avoid the following foods to care for their kidneys:

1. Beverages:

Most beverages are highly acidic, and long-term consumption can alter the body's pH balance. Excessive intake of sports drinks and soft drinks can burden the kidneys. Since the kidneys are important organs for regulating the body's pH balance, they can be damaged.

2. Salty foods:

Many people have a preference for strong flavors and enjoy eating spicy and salty foods. Pickled vegetables, in particular, contain a lot of salt. Long-term consumption can lead to high blood pressure and kidney disease because the kidneys cannot maintain normal blood volume.

3. Strong tea:

Strong tea contains high levels of fluoride, and the kidneys are the main organs for excreting fluoride. Excessive consumption can exceed the kidneys' excretion capacity, leading to fluoride accumulation and kidney damage.

4. Medications:

Various illnesses afflict people, and when they get sick, they quickly buy various related medications. However, excessive use of quinolone antibiotics and aminoglycoside antibiotics can damage your kidneys and even lead to renal failure.

Reminder: In addition to massaging the acupoints for kidney health, male individuals should also be cautious of alcohol, the "natural enemy" of the liver.

Alcohol is a unique molecule that can dissolve in both water and oil. Once it enters the body, it can easily spread and reach almost every part of the body.
