【Prescription Composition】
Goji berries 250g, Rehmannia glutinosa 50g, Polygonatum sibiricum (steamed) 50g, Lily bulb 25g, Polygala tenuifolia (processed) 25g
【Prescription Preparation】
Grind the above five ingredients into coarse powder, put them into a cloth bag with 5000g of white wine in a container, cover and heat over boiling water. When boiling, pour into a sealed barrel and soak for 30-40 days, stirring once a day. Take out the soaked liquid from the cloth bag, then press the bag to squeeze out the liquid. Combine the squeezed liquid with the soaked liquid, add 500g of sugar and stir to dissolve. Let it sit for a few days, filter, and it is ready.
【Functions and Indications】
Nourish the kidneys and liver. Used for deficiency of the liver and kidneys, weakness, thinness, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, insomnia.
【Identification of Goji Berries】
(1) The powder of this herb is yellow-orange or reddish-brown. The surface of the outer fruit peel cells appears to be polygonal or elongated polygonal, with straight or slightly wavy walls, and parallel horny stripes on the outer flat wall surface. The thin-walled cells of the middle fruit peel are polygonal, with thin walls, and contain orange-red or reddish-brown spherical particles in the cell cavity. The surface of the seed coat stone cells appears irregularly polygonal, with thick walls and wavy curvature, and clear layers.
(2) Take 0.5g of this herb, add 35ml of water, boil for 15 minutes, let it cool, filter, and extract the filtrate with 15ml of ethyl acetate by shaking. Take the ethyl acetate solution, concentrate it to 1ml, and use it as the test solution. Take 0.5g of the reference Goji berries and make a reference solution using the same method. Perform thin-layer chromatography (Appendix VIB) test, take 5ul of the above two solutions respectively, spot them on the same silica gel G thin-layer plate, and use ethyl acetate - chloroform - formic acid (3:2:1) as the developing agent. Develop, take out, air dry, and view under ultraviolet light (365nm). In the test solution, at the corresponding position of the reference Goji berries chromatogram, there should be the same color fluorescence spot.
【Precautions】
